PYOC - Important Info/Updates for your summer planning

PYOC - Update

Hello families!

Thanks for your involvement in PYOC, it’s a great privilege to be able to partner with you in discipling your student(s). We’ve been amazed at the work the Lord has been doing in our groups this school year, and it’s a joy to be a part of it!

Below you’ll find several PYOC announcements regarding upcoming events. Please take a moment to read the update, and as always, feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Coming Up:
This Friday, May 30th Girls/Guys Event -
Girls - Middle & High School Cake wars from 3:30-6:30 at the North Chapel (POC: Beth)
Guys - High School Lock-in from 9pm-9am at the Pulaski Religious Youth Chapel (POC: Kevin)

Next Tuesday, June 3 - Student/Parent Purity Dessert -
We are capping of our spring relationship series with a dessert night for students and parents. Please join us from 6:30-8:00 in the North Chapel Annex. Rick Deppe, director of Club 7 and the Protestant Singles of the Chapel will be our keynote speaker.
* Due to the nature of the discussion (purity), we encourage parents to seek childcare arrangements for younger children. It’s our hope that parents would be free from distractions and be able to enjoy a focused time with your middle/high school student(s).
*This dessert is in lieu of regularly scheduled Vision/Salvage.

Tuesday, June 10 - PCS Farewell and 8th Grade Recognition
Due to vacations and PCS’ing throughout the summer, we like to take a day to do a mass farewell for all students moving sometime during the summer. This gives students vacationing/on leave in June/July an opportunity to say goodbye to their friends that will PCS will they’re away. We encourage all students to come on the 10th to be able to say goodbye to their youth group friends. Please note that students who PCS in August can continue to come all summer long, even though we’ve already said goodbye :)

Summer Youth Groups:
Vision and Salvage will meet all summer long! As you meet new families PCS’ing into the KMCC, invite middle and high school students to youth group. It’s a great place for them to begin getting connected in their new community.

Vision will meet from 3-5 and Salvage will meet from 7-9 every Tuesday.
Vision is open to incoming sixth graders - outgoing eighth graders
Salvage is open to incoming ninth graders - outgoing twelfth graders

*Once the new school year begins, Vision will be limited to 6-8 graders and Salvage 9-12 graders.
*Wednesday small group Bible studies will take a break throughout the summer and resume in the fall.
